Many believe that Cancun is synonymous with the words "Spring Break". For those of you students who've hit the infamous strip, I'm sure you'll agree. However, I enjoy the type of travel that puts an emphasis on culture, education, beauty and new experiences. For those of you who enjoy that type of travel, I heartily recommend a trip to the East Coast of the Yucatan, of which Cancun is just one part.

There is a diverse range of activities to suit most travelling styles, contrary to the popular belief that all roads lead to Senor Frogs for a froofy fruity drink. (Some do, though, if that's for you.)

Depending on your tastes, you can do everything from lolling on the beach in a divine state of laziness to taking scuba diving lessons, climbing 1,000 year old Mayan pyramids, swimming with dolphins, or touring the jungle via car or jet ski. Sounds good, doesn't it.
